Classic Tuna Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 package egg noodles
- 2 cans cream mushroom soup
- 3 cans tuna in water, drained
- 1 can peas, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Cook egg noodles according to package directions, drain.
- Meanwhile, open the cream of mushroom soup and add to bowl. Add 1/2 - 3/4 cans of water and mix with a whisk until creamy.
- After the noodles are drained, add back to pan and add the cream of mushroom soup. Stir to cover all the noodles.
- Add the tuna. Mix well.
- Add the peas. Stir gently to mix in.
- Add the noodle mixture to a 9 x 12 deep dish baking pan. Add cheese to top.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 375°. Change you oven setting to a low broil. Broil for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

Options
- You can add 2-3 cloves of garlic.
- You can top with grated or shredded parmesan.
