Cast Iron Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 1-2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2/3 cup flour
Directions
- Set the 12" cast iron pan in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350º with pan in oven to heat the pan before adding the batter.
- In a large bowl, mix together sugar, cocoa, and salt.
- Add the melted butter and mix until just combined.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
- Add the flour and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the preheated cast iron pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until top has a thin crust. The brownies will continue to cook when removed from the oven. Let sit in the pan for at least one hour to cool before cutting.
- Cut into desired size. Enjoy!
