Loaded Canadian Bacon Pizza
Ingredients for crust
- 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
Ingredients
- 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar pizza sauce
- 1 roasted green chili, pureed
- 1 can pineapple bits
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1 can petite diced tomatoes (or 1 fresh tomato, chopped)
- 1 package Canadian Bacon, diced
- 1 package Italian Blend cheese
Directions for crust
- In a mixer, add the yeast, sugar and warm water. Let sit for 10 minutes until it looks "frothy".
- Add flour, olive oil and salt.
- Turn on mixer and mix until well combined and smooth.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
Directions for Toppings
- Preheat oven to 450º.
- Spray your hands with cooking spray. Divide the pizza crust in half. Spread dough on 2 8x8 baking plates. (or can spread on a 9x12 baking sheet to make one full size pizza.)
- Spread minced garlic on the crust.
- Add desired amount of pizza sauce on the pizza.
- Add the pureed green chili.
- Top with desired amounts of pineapple, tomatoes, onions, and Canadian Bacon.
- Finish off with 1 cup or desired amount of cheese.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown,
